On Friday was my boyfriend Miguel's birthday so I decided to take him to an Hibachi restaurant. At a Hibachi restaurant what ever you order they cook it right in front of you and the chef does tricks with the food. He never been to a place like that nor has the guest that went with us so I thought it would be a fun experience for all of them. The restaurant we went to was in Tunersville and Torrin, Tiffany, Thomas, and Mariel were invited to come along. We all ordered our food of course it took everybody a long time to order because everyone was unsure but finally the chef came to cook. The first trick I remember him doing was turning the fried rice into a heart with an arrow going through it and he also made a volcano out of onions. My favorite thing about the cooking oof the food was the big fire he made before serving the food. The food was excellent. I also brought a cake and on the cake it had Miguel in a batman outfit when he was about six years old. But, the people at the restaurant were so generous once everybody left and we were the only ones there they turned on the birthday music with flasjing lights and had dancing dragons come out. At first it scared me to see all these dancing dragons but I enjoyed it a lot. He blew out the candles and made three wishes saying one out loud. We took lots of pictures and it was very memorable for him and for everyone else. I can not wait to go again.
Miss Mitchell:
ReplyDeleteGreat entry.
It sounds like you had a blast over the weekend, sharing good, "entertaining" food with wonderful people.
During the next few journal entries, I want you to have your Compact Comma Summary sheet out to help you better determine why and where to place commas. Remember, adept writers, the type we want to be, tend to use more commas than periods.
I love that you take pictures of EVERYTHING! So cute!
