Project Exploration

I have always been interested in the surrounding world around us. What does every action we as humans do affect our environment every day, what will the Earth be like thousands of years from now and what can I do to change things. In my generation right now we are in a global crisis and something has to be done.
My career aspiration is to become an Environmental Scientist and study in the Costa Rican rain forest. I want to major in environmental science the college of my choice. I want to become an Environmental Scientist because I want to save the world from Global Warming. Global warming is cause by pollutants that create holes in the ozone layer which increases the high levels of UV waves impacting Earth. As a result of this is the polar ice caps are melting and ocean water level rising. Also, the weather is rapidly changing such as droughts, warmer and colder temperature, and earthquake disasters.
To help me pursue this goal the Senior Project was designed. The Project is for seniors only and for half of the year in my English class. I get to study what ever my desire is and this way I will know if I want to make this a major in college and or career after high school. My mentor and I would have to meet up for about a half hour to an hour to review things that happened in the past week. At the end of my exploring I will make an hour long presentation to my fellow class mates, teachers, and board of education.
