This morning when my mom was taking my sister and I to school, I heard something tragic over the radio. A man in Austrailia threw his four year old daughter off a 150 foot drop over a bridge. He had two other children in the car with him at the time along with eye witnesses. About ten minutes after he dropped the girl, police were there and tried to revive the girl but, she later died. The police has no motivate yet on why he did such a thing. Cases like these really hit me hard, just like the Caylee Anthony case, where her mother killed her and burried the body, I just don't understand! Most of the times as little girls, many dream about having their own family and raising children some day. A baby is supposed to be a gift from above and when people do horrendous crimes like these it makes parenting look like a unfit job for some. To be able to have a child in the first place is a blessing. Not every one is able to have children due to medical issues or other problems. People like that would want to walk in their shoes any day and to give it all up just like that is selfish. What really sadden me about this all is that they were young who haven't had a change to grow and see the world. How dare you take a child's life so easily like that, no one has the right to do such a thing. Children are supposed to burry their parents, it's not supposed to happen the other way around.
I sometimes hear stories of animals in the wild harming or eating their young. You would think that human beings, with out intellect and conscience, would be above stuff like that, but it just isn't so. I wonder if the man was suffering from some kind of psychosis.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, the stuff you hear about in the news is more shocking and out there than anything you'd see in a movie.
This is soo sad. I understand how you feel!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Casey Anthony's mother was so wrong for that, especially the fact that she lied and went out partying immediately after. The australian man was also wrong. I know kids can be annoying sometimes but I cannot imagine a kid doing something so bad that their parents or caretakers would go to extremes such as murder. If they cant handle it, they shouldnt have had the child.
