I am 28 years of age and I'm enjoying life. As a career I am studying Environmental Science and I have became an Environmentalist. What interested me in environmental science is the studying of the Earth and everything that interfers with its atmosphere. Back in high school Global Warming was becoming a huge problem. The weather was rapidly changing, animals were more prown to becoming extinct, and we as people were becoming a burden to our planet. I wanted to be the reason to find the answer to how we could all get along without there being any problems. What helped me start was my english class my senior year in high school. I was given the chance to pursue my goal and do study science. Some of the things I did was go to commission meetings and work at an aquarium in Camden. I enjoyed everything I did and I went to after soon after and explored my career even more. After I finished college I became an Environmentalist working in the Costa Rican Rain Forest. I love to work in the Rain Forest because there are many species to study and the weather is lovely. The Silver Back gorillas are amazing! I work with them a lot because many people over hunt them for skin, babies, organs. At one point they were almost extinct but laws against poachers protected them for a while but that still didn't stop them from going after them. Also, gorillas are so closely related to humans. Their DNA make up are 98% to 99% close to humans and they say we are decendants from them. All of the gorillas have such strong personalities and are unique in every way. I will continue to live in Costa Rica to study and learn more about the world that surrounds me.
